Doubt in life is like a malignant cancer which left untreated, unchecked, spreads and ails the body. It gets in the way, becomes a barrier, affecting mobility. It's hinders our movement forward, our spiritual progression.
It ages us beyond our youthful years and sets in motion a catalyst of regretful trespasses which impede our ability to recognize opportunity and blessing. It affects the eyes with cataracts of insecurities which blind us to the world around us and to the abundance the Lord places before us for the taking.
Its origins lay in the past and it dwells as a parasitic of the present. There's little hope for those affected other than the gambling antics of taking chance and the liberating tonics, optimism and faith. Should you fail along the way, do not despair, a tablespoon of humility a day guarantees remission & prayer, lifelong protection.
I wished we were all MD's, self-medicated, liberated from our personal shortcomings, open to boundless blessing and unaffected, untainted, by the ailments we oftentimes allow to self consume our beings...

Everything shook, the cat ran in and hid in the closet, every car alarm in a two block radius went off and neighbors as far as four blocks away were frazzled.
A ConEd team was working a block away from my house this morning. I passed them and the site as I went the deli to pick up my sandwich just 4 hours ago.
A manhole, adjacent to the sidewalk I walked on, blew up underneath two cars, totaling one, causing a huge chunk of street to rise and causing several nearby windows to shatter. Several of the nearby buildings are presently without power and the gas has been turned off for many.
The entire neighborhood has gathered to witness the happenings. There are presently over 100 people outside from 4 square blocks who ran to respond to the impact, four fire trucks and many NYPD cars at the scene.
Had it happened as I passed but a foot or two from it, my eardrums may have perhaps shattered or who knows... Thank you Lord for delaying the explosion and no one having been hurt.
Scary...
