5 min before getting my eyes zapped...Thank God Aloysius the teddy bear was there to see me through it....lol
I woke up at 6am, blind as a bat and under the influence of a Valium and a Tylenol pm. I however thought that it was 6 "pm" and so took another Valium and yet another Tylenol PM and went back to bed. I GAGGED 4 hours later when my alarm went off and I was due at my doctor's office for a post Lasik surgery check up...I felt like a nodding Heroine addict stumbling along mid town. Finally back home with 20/20 (actually I have better than 20/20, I have 21/21 now) but am still tripping over everything, including the cat's tail which a stepped on a few minutes ago...
There is nothing worse when you oversleep, and on such substances. No coffee or quick shower in the world can help. Glad you made it through. Imagine the people in midtown who saw you navigating the tourists , stumbling along with you teddy bear :+)
I am glad everything went OK with the surgery Yusef. I so do like this photo with you and the teddy bear, how cute is that? Anything in this life that is for the better to improve us is well worth it. Our vision is important, especially for you with your talent of photography. i've been so tempted over the years but im scared to get it done but i know im a good candidate for it...
i think i may work up to it (contacts..i like my glasses though. they give me that air of classy sophistication I SO know i don't really have...even AFTER the years of undergrad and grad training at ivy league schools...bew! lol!)

I said, "screw it", to the air of sophistication. I've read enough to consider my self so and cultured. I don't need the extra set of fogged up designer frames to help me with that.
But, I do have to admit that I now, after the fact, do miss then and I always thought I looked cute in them.
The only great thing about them was the fact that they added an extra element of innocence to my overall look which now have to compensate in some other way. Any suggestions?
