Have I mentioned how much I LOVE MY NEW JOB? I am part of a great diverse team of super bright individuals, a world renown organization and university, doing feelgood work that will benefit generations to come, blessed with three spectacular office locations, and the promise of being part of the initiative to develop an HIV vaccine that will someday bring an end the epidemic.
FEEL GOOD WORK IS ALWAYS GOOD!!! and i hope a cure comes soon! ive lost many! :( I CAN WAIT FO THE DAY TO KNOW MY AUNT BABY COUSIN AND UNCLE DIDN DIE IN VAIN AND THAT THEY DIED FOR A CAUSE!
Thx you Juan and I am sorry for your loses... I can not begin to imagine what the pain of losing an entire branch of the family tree is like. Know that all things which fall far or near the tree are in part made up of energy, which can never be destroyed but only changes in form. They are still with us and part of you tree and our universal forest not as they were but as they've become and are remembered.
please just dont lose touch with the patients in the hospital itself. i am 2 months shy of having my life given back by people who didnt lose touch, but those people were rare.
My role is strictly limited to research at this moment which pertains to negative status study participants.
However, you have known me for sometime and know that my lifelong work has mostly emphasized preventive initiatives and service provision for those affected or infected. 13 years to be exact.
Despite the shift of my professional focus on the epidemic, I still see myself in this capacity doing monumental work which might not just benefit our present day generations but the many more to come.
