Let us not forget our humanity and prayers while amidst our mundane trappings, that today (this very second) marks one month after our Caribbean brothers in Haiti befell one of the most difficult trials and lessons in perseverance that our Lord, in his not-to-be-questioned-infinite wisdom, has chosen to give.

Alas, the lesson is not Haiti's alone for Mankind consist of a collective consciousness far greater than any one identity, culture, or geographical local and as such, should never be veiled by material richness or good fortune.

Take a moment to be thankful and wish those less fortunate souls Godspeed in their present experiences and in our common journey through this shared world to a forgotten place called heaven, but more endearingly known as home.

This is a very sad picture but it really illustrate the devastation of what occurred in Haiti.

I agree. It is truly saddening and eerie despite its ironic journalistic beautifully captured composition.
