Dinner is Served

We had some of the guys over for dinner last night. I made paella and beautiful loin cuts of Kobe, from the Hyōgo Prefecture of Japan. I planned the meal perfectly, except for the fact that Julio is mostly detached to the idea of red meat consumption and that Kevin is somewhat allergic to seafood.

Jeremy isn't fretted by large pieces of meat, never has been, pun intended. Furthermore, he has enough sugar in his submarine tank to deal with the fishiest of the fishes and so he had no qualms regarding the menu.

Tony didn't, rather couldn't have had any issues with the plates served as he never showed and called sometime after 1a.m. to enquire about the happenings of the get-together he never made.

Everyone, had concoctions, made using 151% proof vodka which made their eyes water. I too wanted watery eyes but had to pass on the drinks due to antibiotics for an upper respiratory thingamajig I got going on.

After bellies were full and eyes watery enough, we played Cranium's Pop Five. It was a blast. My team was kicking butt, but ultimately ended losing by five points. Its o.k. though...the game was not fair to begin with...we let them get one or two on us...did I mention it was three against one? Lol

It was a fun night.
