'09 came just as the site hit 80,000 visits. Not bad considering I just decided to start the site three years ago.

I am glad that i discovered Cubanizm.com at the end of 08. It is so far an outlet for me to visit when I feel alone. As loser like as that is to say lol. Reading some of the stories has been awesome, like your trip to Japan when you stayed at your friends familys house and the shower scared the shit out of you. lol . It was almost like sitting back and hearing funny stories from an old friend.
Another reason that i am glad i discovered Cubanizm is because it propells me to know that my life could be an inspiration or an outlet for someone else one day, Turinign all of the pain that I have experienced into purposeful use.
Maybe one day I will share some of it with you sir.
Dude as my Pastor said in church on New years Eve "09 is mine" and so it is yours as well. Take everything back this year that was ever stolen from you, make it your biatch as you put it lol.
Cheers to an awesome New Beggining..
Peace

I too am glad that you find my corner of cyberspace worth the occasional stop. It adds a little extra sense of significance to what would be an otherwise self-involved project.

I especially am grateful for those who are able to look past words and pretty images and identify the commonalities which unite the Human experience.

It is when we look past ourselves, hang-ups, & differences and allow for the opportunity to be witness to the totality of others, that we feel most connected.

Sharing pretty pictures and life experiences is definitely revitalizing and even uplifting for some; to know that someone else out there shares your joys and heartaches, but at the same time when was a little secrecy such a bad thing.

So lets put aside all the jazzy photos and enchanting stories and talk about love...and real love is about none of this.

I just question if you'll ever make room for someone other than yourself, even if you don't think so. We all know this "electronic lifestyle" keeps you busy, anxious like a mouse waiting to bite the shit out of the cheese.

....Bloggers keep him alive.

Words of truth.

Mmm… Cheese…

1. Truth is subjective.

2. It’s difficult to say since we are unable to speak of the construct of love in an a priori fashion due to personal varying definitions.

Below are the styles identified by psychologists, what category does this “real love” you speak of fall under? It may help answer your question.

Love Styles: (Lee, 1977; Hendrick & Hendrick, 1986)

Primary love styles:

*Eros - Love at first sight, based on physical attributes and is mostly physical arousal;

*Storge - loving affection that develops over time, is primarily affection and commitment;

*Ludos - a rover and collector of loves, very pluralistic.

Secondary love styles:

*Mania - intense preoccupation with the loved one, intensely jealous and possessive, in need of constant reassurance of partner's love. Projects desired qualities on partner;

*Pragma - looking for a compatible partner;

*Agape - Selfless, caring without self interest.

why is it that some people feel the need to try to rain on someone else' parade? If your joy came from this blog is that so bad? Keep living Yusef! Take advice from T.I. "Ignore haters til they fade away!"

so great. your page brought on a time, reading your book backwards. should there be any other way to read a good book?

You're such a dork ...

Ehhh, congratulations? I'm glad? ... Uuummm, I find the page to be quite unique! (There must be others out there, but this one, and you are unique!) ;o)
