BOO, Yusef!
Kimchi is that shit! don't hate!
man, i'd KILL for some quality korean food right now..but, they don't have that in shitsburgh, i mean, PITTSburgh, PA. :(
hope you are well.
How could your taste buds possibly endure. I tried and couldn,t. Anything else Korean I can do. Takes me back to a bad "natto" experience in Tokyo.
I'm used to it...
I grew up with a mother who was VERY LIBERAL with the cayenne pepper, hot sauce, pepper flakes and habanero (sp?) and jalapeno peppers--fresh ones--in everything I ate....
so i can take it.
plus i do it in moderation....it's easy.
don't be SCURRED of the kimchi goodness, Yusef!
Ryan,
If I get an urge for spicy (which I enjoy) I'll go for Thai but aged pickled cabbage…
Ever heard the sound a cat makes when dry heaving up a hairball?
Let us start with the fact that I hate most things cabbage or pickled and kimchi happens to qualify as both…
BTW: I HIGHLY recommend: Sripraphai at 64-13 39th Ave in Queens, NY 718-899-9599 (Check out my Holy Chilli entry on February 14, 2006)
ooh Yusef! don't hate on that goodness that is Kimchi! LOLOLOL!
different strokes, for different folks...
ooh, i heard about that place. i never got to go when i was in nyc next time i am, i will be stopping by Sripraphai for a meal. :)
