Today I had my bi-yearly HIV exam. The hardest part was getting there in cold weather but the easiest part was walking out with a smile.
O.K. Your turn...Go get tested.

im scheduled to get mine on november 16th.
actually need to get the STD exam soon...not looking forward to it.
Yup. Everyone should. My usual full physical and bloodwork was done at the start of the school year. A great feeling it is young Padawan - With You, May the Force be.
This might sound kind of shallow but I have been "Wrapping it up" since my last exam (last year). Do I really need to push the issue of getting tested?
Yusef its great you're promoting getting tested, but as a physician its even more important to emphasize safer practices. Not getting caught unprepared is key. Now to the Corey guy, that's great to know, but nothing is a free pass, testing is for everyone.
Miguel:
Hey Doctor! Whats up? Thank you for your words. I hope that settles is for Corey.
BTW Corey:
Props on the "wrapping."
Hey Yusef, how are you? I hope all is well. I just wanted to say that your words have not only been a shoulder to lean on, but have been motivating to say the least. I am glad that people like us still remain in this world. I thought I was the only one. Well, thanks again for being a driving force in my mind. Stay strong, stay safe and please continue to motivate others as you do to me... ps- I also walked out with a smile on 11-10-06. Thanks, you made me go!!!
