Playing around on the train with Piotr and kyoumi on our way to the lake. Made a lot of jokes about Polish people. Including the one about how many it takes to put on a light bulb. They can't count that far so it is never funny. Sad really. We also talked about how Poland got creamed by Ecuador's soccor team during the World Cup. Poland came up a lot, as did border line cheesy Cuban jokes. Kyoumi stayed quiet so Japan was spared the tastless ethnic bashing.

Once Again, I caught nothing. I did snag a beautiful largemouth bass but when it was about a foot from the shore and when Piotr was about to grab it, it freed itself. It was a nice one, about 1-1.5 lbs. I did not catch anything else except for a sunfish. It should not count though. I was making fun of a two foot stick with a hook and 4 feet of string. I put a worm on it and behold, I can't catch anything with a carbon filament rod, Shimano reel and Trilene line but I get third-world and dinner is on the table. Kyoumi was the only one to catch anything worth mentioning. She caught a nice bass with a hook, bobber and worms we dug up, while trying to catch small sunfish. ▼
