Pueblo Unido (Unified Community)

They took their land and murdered all who opposed. Now for two hundred years we have done everything possible to keep the “immigrants” from coming back. We build walls and fences to alienate children from the lands that their ancestors called home and build things like Los Angeles and Disney Land…

I naturally made it a point to go to the immigration rally. Who doesn’t like a little social upheaval every now and again? I have got to tell you folk activism is a powerful thing and social change is a must. The differences along the lines of wealth, status, and sense of entitlement are alarmingly disproportionate and the American culture of consumption and elitist indifference will in the next century have to face the consequences of our imperialistic nature’s affect on the Third World.
