Chaotic

Well, I slept about 6.5 hours and its already time to go back to work. Today, I have 14.5 hours before me. I worked a hefty 56 hours last week. My only day off this week was Monday and I do not get another one until who knows when. Did I mention that my homework is really starting to pile up and that this whole quitting smoking and lack of sleep and over working thing is starting to make me grumpy. The less sleep I get then less able I seem to be able to fall asleep when needed. It is a vicious insomnia cycle of perpetuation. I can’t wait to get the fuck out of New York next week and head to Miami. It is a much needed escape from the less favorable daily. Now, I get to go serve brunch, late lunch, and dinner to everyone but myself. If I am really lucky, I will make it home between 1-1:30a.m. and get 5 or 6 hours of sleep before I head back on Sunday morning. I think I am off this coming Monday but of course there is a snow storm scheduled for that day. It sucks but I look forward to a little downhill sledding in Central Park. I have been waiting all season, despite my dislike for snow in the city. If you happen to live in a sunny far off place and daydream about a beautiful snow laden New York City. I promise you that it is only a thing of Hollywood movies. Snow, is only beautiful as it falls, it’s first four hours after having fallen or in the outdoors. Anywhere else, it is a filthy, inconvenient, nuisance piled high right where one requires crossing. For me that first day means a possible fast downhill ride, right into a hay surrounded tree or some poor bastard that I am about to take down like a bowling pin. There is nothing funnier then the infantile joy that one experience’s when volunteering to leave their pride on high ground and willingly taking the plunge towards inevitable downhill chaos. Speaking of chaos if I continue writing I will be late for mine.
