Booklist

This is my book list at the moment. If you are thinking it’s too long, I agree. I have decided not to pass by any bookstores or visit Amazon.com for some time. Books are the one thing I do not seem to be able to part with and they just keep piling and piling. Having no cable, a 2 mega-bite-per-second connection and a few delivery-phone shifts at work, I end up doing a lot of reading. I am quite far along on many of them and inescapably stuck in some longwinded chapters, in others. One thing is for sure I have more then enough reading material.

Have any good reading suggestions? If so, please do keep them to yourself for now.

...

::comes back::

Anyway, I hate having 2 much time in my hands to read cuz then I read a book in like a two days!!! and then im assed out to spend another 8 dollars... 9-sumthin with tax.

I have a whole book collection back home in P.R. that I have to go back home to get cuz I have the whole Animorphs series (among other titles) and I refuse to part with that. Those books were just too good...

LOL.

You are right Pacito. I do not like your kind of books at all. The joy luck club, fried green tomatoes, Ophra’s autobiography, and How to Accessorize with Rhinestones are not my kind of reading. But hey, at least you are literate.

Maybe Santa will bring you that much awaited Bedazzler for Christmas to go with your How-to-book.

:snickers:

laugh all you want but Oprah's autobiography was kinda good and that "how-to" book has gotten me plenty of dick, thank you very much.

dont even know where I would be without it...

::hugs his "how-to" book::

Democracy Matters is a great read Yusef, hope you're enjoying it. Stay warm

Sorry to add to your long list but I would add Ignorance by Milan Kundera which I just read and Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri. talk soon

I just read your request for no suggestions... Oh well,

Good thing I swore off Cubans a long time ago...

Can I borrow some of those when you're done?

Oh and two words... LIBRARY CARD

Jorge,

"Interpreter of Maladies" is on its Amazonian way. I meant to get a copy some time ago but seemed to have diminished the brain cells that withheld that information. Thanks for the reminder. Well, not a real heartfelt thanks. You just caused me to buy yet another book.

philippe,

Four words: I owe them money.
