Last night I went to the movies to catch the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I was a bit worried that they would not do my imagination justice but Disney has outdone their selves again. I enjoyed the movie very much and felt that it did not butcher the book. The battle scene at the end, with all the animals and magical creatures, was my personal favorite. I especially love how they depicted Aslan.
I bought the books on Thursday; I am now working on book three and hooked. I know you are probably thinking that I should have out grown this stuff by now, but I assure you that I am only concerned about watching the new Harry Potter movie and not what you think. Besides, very few have bared witness to the effects that a Lego isle at a toy store has on me. Anyway, if you are half the big kid I am, go and watch the movie. I think you’ll enjoy it.

I was raised on Narnia. I've read each book about 10 times each... at least.
Good to know then did the movie well. I'vee been waiting to see it with sister (also fan) but she's outta town.
Im waiting to watch the movie and THEN read the book cuz doesnt matter how good of an adaptation of a book a movie is, it hardly ever does a book justice and Im dissapointed @ the movie, no matter HOW good it was.
so im waiting 2 c this movie before I go out and buy myself the books.

Oh man. I have a fascination with lions, and I've been waiting ten years for this movie. I remember reading the book in like 2nd grade and falling in love with Aslan. I wrote a review for this movie when I saw it dec. 10th. Im glad Im not the only adult who was geeky enough to see it.
