Moral question

(This was forwarded to me today, I had to share it with you guys.)
***********************************************************************
THE SITUATION

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane and severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot
career-makingphotos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some
disappearing under the water.

Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

***********************************************************************
THE TEST

Suddenly you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life, tryingnot to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's George W. Bush!At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under forever. You have two options--you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize-winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful politicians.

***********************************************************************
THE QUESTION

Here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the
classic simplicity of black and white?

Where is my Pulitzer Prize? tic toc tic toc...

I would save him...........regardless of the F*^k up things he done.

I personally would go with classic simplicity and do Black and White!

Wow, Thats Classic - So i would go with black and white.

I would like to thank a few people. First, thank you Best Buy for having the camera on sale. Secondly, thanks for the debris moving slightly to the left. Without you, I would've never saw him go under. I chose high contrast color for this shot. The black and white wouldn't have captured his sheer realization and utter terror that no one was around to rescue him. Thanks for this award. You love me. You really love me.

i would go with blavk and white

I would go with the high-contrast color film because you can always edit the photo to make it black & white.

Oh to see George W. Bush die is truly a "Kodak Moment."

Wow, that's horrible...but I would deff. have to go with the Color Film to show the modernization compared to all the other presidents that died in the past. Hopefully I could catch more than one shot, maybe one with only his fingers coming out the water.(Yusef Great Photo Idea)

YO WUTS REALLY HOOD MY NI69A HOW U BEEN GOOD I HOPE I WAS CHECK'N OUT UR SITE IT'S OFFF DA HOOK 4REAL I LOVE DA BABY PICS THEY HOT U WAS BORN FLY HUH!!!!!LMAO SO WHEN U GONNA COME SEE A NI69A STOP FRUNT'N PAPA ...LMAO... CALL ME U HEARD HOLLA ATCHA BOII.1..

Despite the shit G.W. has this nation going through, how can anyone of us be any better if we let him drown? Yes, the situation tests us on more than on moral level; but, figure, if he dies who's next in line? Cheney. Also, Who's to say if a gay black man like myself saves him that he wouldn't change some of his close-minded thoughts. Realistically that probably wouldn't happen...but, it's a nice thought. Bottom line (for me) save the man, let him continue to create his legacy whatever it is. We who oppose him will continue to fight against his agenda. The picture would never be worth my ability to sleep peacefully at night. So, I'd drag his sloppy-wet ass out of the water, make a couple choice comments about how funding for the levee system might have been nice, and go my own way.

But, that's just me.

Peace, brothers.

Danny,

I do not think that any of would really let him drown. I was aiming for a smile and perhaps a thats-so-terrible thought. I would never let anyone die who was in reach to save. (I hope that the same holds true for my readers.) He is not a great president but he doesn't need to die for the world to know that. Karma begets karma. I'll let the universe take care of it's self.

I wil rescue him while keep taking pictures, afterwards I will ask him to move his influences to make me win the Pulitzer, and I am sure he will...'the world works like that'
I will shoot color, and then do my retouching and desaturation in photoshop...to make the shot even more dramatic... they always do... believe me!... I had this conversation about realism in photo-jounalist...with the assitant of the director of photography for Time magazine.
