oh wow i miss astoria...memorys of whne i use to hang out in steinway when i was younger with my friends lol...and that park near the water was nice ....

that "fish" photo is nice i remember i seen a castle for some reason lol

does the view from astoria park always look like that during those lazy, hazy summer evenings? i love being able to capture those moments when the sun starts playing peek-a-boo with the clouds while downing a litre of sangria.. the effects become even better! the montreal skyline is just as hot. and with the fireworks festival happening all summer... it's worth capturing.
a bientot! ed (in montreal, KWE-bec - lol - KWE-bec)

These picts are nice, I wish I could take some here in London the way you do! They're HOT! (oh well we could only hope right?!)

Hi Marvin,

How is London doing after the aftermath?

Well lets see...the bus blew up down the street from our flats (dorms), the train and train station that blew up happened on the line that I take to my internship, and the most crazy part is that I don't know if it blew up after my train left the station or while we were waiting there with the doors opened, listening to the announcement "everyone leave the station this is an emergency!" Yet the conductor of our train said nothing but "please let people into the train as much as possible!" (Even though the train was packed to capacity and then some) So yeah little freaked out, and then my mom calling me at work frantic about my safety. I'm use to travelling without my family but that day I got homesick, that day I was ready to take a first class ticket back to the states! Oh wait so yeah the aftermath just like that states after 9-11 police everywhere and roads closed off. (DEJAVOUS RIGHT!!!) The only thing though that I noticed was that everything went back to normal WAY TOO QUICK, the next day it was as though nothing had happened, buses and trains were running as usual. I felt like they didn’t give time to mourn the lives that were lost. (But it’s not surprising they are British.)

Marvin,

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is hard to believe that such things happen. Sometimes I just wish that it would all end. I wanted to dedicate an entry to the happenings but like the British, I realized that talking about it would only reinforce my fears and worries. At times it is easier to shut ones eyes to the ugly that surrounds us and not let fear get the better of us.

As for the monsters that did this. Their day will come, because at the core of all of the religions that the children of Moses begun, ideals of tolerance, compassion, and peace reside.

One day they will have to face the God in whose name they justify this contradictory ideological war and answer to the consequences of karma.

whutz up sukka face foo! we kept playin' phone tag...guess who i am living with....marlon....tha miami crew is in full effect....we need to get together...u still look tha same...actually better...we all looked better once we escaped tha ..ugh...edge!!!

What up Will!

My bad bro. This NY life is crazy hectic. I just had a good talk with Marlon yesturday. Last time I spoke with him he was busy working on that film, "Party Monster," that Macaulay Culkin started in. I lost contact with him for a short while. Lets get together soon and catch up. I'll give u guys a call.
