All Better & Back At Work

I feel much better. Whatever bug I had in my system, came and went.

The day is going by pretty smooth. I got a lot of rest last night so my energy level is up. This evening, I just have to deal with phones so it shouldn't be too much of a demanding day. I also now have over 1200 songs in my I-Pod, thanks to my boy Enrique, to help keep me grooving. Hopefully, the shift will go by fast and I can wrap things up quickly at the end of the night. On the bright side, I have been eating pretty well since I got here but I am mad at the pastry chef because she keeps feeding my fat ass deserts. She is a devils advocate of sorts who just read that last line and popped up with a yummy panna cotta. Ummmm, I hate her. Ha, ha, ha…

Tomorrow, I am hosting a barbecue get-together at my crib. Hopefully, I will get up early because I need to get the food prepped in time. I am going to have a few friends from school, work and the neighborhood over for a few laughs, good food and of course beer.

If you happen to live in New York City please refrain from drinking the tap water. It seems that our water supply was contaminated yesterday as crews were fixing up God knows what at the reservoir. Apparently a lot of a lot of soil, which harbors all kinds of bad organics found its way into the water supply and city officials warn that we should boil all of our drinking water until tomorrow. Fret not! NYC has one of the best water in the world. I am sure that all will be back to normal in no time. I would just stay away from it for a day or two. Unless you want to run the risk of feeling like I did yesterday.
